Why switch
Why people choose Page Builder Sandwich over Divi
Start free, upgrade when you need to
44 blocks, Sandwich Studio and 20 website kits are free, with no time limit. Divi is sold as a membership only.
No shortcodes left behind
Elegant Themes’ own blog: “Finally, there is the issue with shortcodes being left over in the post content after moving away from Divi, which will no longer be a problem in Divi 5. If you build your website with Divi 5, and then switch to a new theme or builder, you’ll start with a blank slate instead of with unwanted shortcodes in the post content.” Page Builder Sandwich pages are ordinary WordPress blocks, so there is nothing to clean up, ever.
Your site loads faster
Each page loads only the styles of the blocks on it, from your own site, with no requests to other companies’ servers.
Bring your Divi pages with you
Page Builder Sandwich Pro converts Divi pages into blocks, keeping the layout, fonts, colours and images, and never changes the original page.

A tick means yes. A dash means we could not find it on the competitor’s own pages on 2026-10-04. Every competitor fact comes from the competitor’s own website or its WordPress.org page, read on 2026-10-04; the measured rows come from our own runs, with the method and every figure in the linked file. For everyone
Faster pages that everyone can use
Your site loads faster
Each page loads only the styles of the blocks on it, from your own site, and no fonts or scripts from other companies. Faster pages keep visitors and help search rankings.
Everyone can use it
Menus, tabs, sliders and dialogs work with the keyboard and screen readers, charts and tables read as words, and moving blocks stay still for visitors who ask for less motion. The checker flags problems as you build.
Moving from Divi
Page Builder Sandwich Pro converts your Divi pages into blocks, keeping the layout, fonts, colours and images, and gives you a report of anything that needs a manual touch. Your original pages are never changed, so you can compare side by side before you switch.
